ARP R&R Title 7

- This icon (green dot) indicates that the attached rule is an automatic written warning (also referred to as 10-90).

- This icon (orange dot) indicates that the attached rule is an automatic temporary ban (also referred to as 10-93).

- This icon (red dot) indicates that the attached rule is an automatic community removal.

Section 7.1 Naming Standard

All members, staff, and administrators in ARP are required to follow the standardized naming convention across all platforms. Your name must remain consistent throughout all ARP assetsโ€”you cannot use different names on different platforms.

Example: You cannot be "R. Cohen" on Discord and "Ryker C." on the website. Your name must be the same across all ARP platforms and assets.

If a memberโ€™s name does not match across all platforms, they will receive one verbal warning. Continued non-compliance will result in disciplinary action.

Section 7.1.1 ARP Assets

ARP Assets includes but are not limited to:

  • ARP Discords

  • In Game

  • TeamSpeak

  • Our Website

  • Community Rosters

Section 7.1.2 Name Format

You may choose one of the acceptable formats below to use across all assets. Please consult with your department if they require one of the ones below Unit Number may also be referred to as Call-Sign.

Acceptable Name Formats (Unless Department Specific Below)

  • First Name Last Initial Unit Number - (Ex: John D. 2B-200)

  • First Initial Last Name Unit Number - (Ex: J. Doe 2B-200)

  • Unit Number, | , First Name Last Initial - (Ex: 2B-200 | John D.)

  • Unit Number, | , First Initial Last Name - (Ex: 2B-200 | J. Doe )

LSPD Only Acceptable Name Formats

  • [Unit Number] First Initial Last Name - (Ex: [2B-200] J. Doe )

Section 7.1.3 Reserve Format

Reserves are still required to Display their Primary Department Name Format Across all ARP Assets. If you would like to Display your Reserve Callsign, you will need to add a | Unit Number after your name. Ex: J. Doe 2B-200 | CIVR-200

Section 7.2 In Game Name Policy

Members will have their name match what their name is according to Section 7.1 Naming Standard while in patrol server. Members that have their name not correct will be kicked from game to have it corrected.

Section 7.3 Media Members Name Policy

Media members are required to display their primary ARP name format across all ARP assets. If you are actively streaming, you may add โ€œ | LIVE: Channel Nameโ€ or simply โ€œ | LIVEโ€ after your name within the TeamSpeak and Discord.

Example: John D. 2B-200 | LIVE: Channel Or: John D. 2B-200 | LIVE

This is only permitted while actively streaming and exclusively for members of the Media Department. Please ensure your name is reverted to the standard format when not streaming.
